  1. First... This is a trial release so that people can have some email
  2. facility. It has bugs and things that don't quite work. I will be 
  3. releasing better versions later but currently I want to get it on
  4. the streets..

  15. If you havn't got ELM-PC already you should install that first since
  16. it create directories and has some of the files that you need. It can
  17. be found in /pub/elm-pc as elmpc.zip on lister.cc.ic.ac.uk You also might
  18. want to get the MIME support programs in /pub/winmime.

  22. There are two main programs.

  25. WINELM.EXE    - The main program.

  27. WSPOOLD.EXE    - The mail transport.

  30. Extra command line options are...

  32. -u user        - specify who you are on the command line.

  36. -p password    - if you want to risk it.

  38. -h homedir    - you 'home' directory.

  40. -s server    - the name of you pop3 server.
